Doula,
hypnobirthing teacher,
trauma-informed support
Bex’s goal is to support women and birthing people to feel safe and heard and to ensure that they are able to make informed choices about their care and have these choices respected. She is passionate about ensuring that women and birthing people have full choice and control over what happens to their bodies. She also loves teaching all about how amazing the body is to help bust fear and anxiety around birth.
Bex’s background is in working with women and girls who have experienced ongoing trauma and abuse and she brings this experience into her birth work through her gentle, choice-based and feminist approach, as well as her strong advocacy skills.
Bex has her own experience of infertility and IVF and has a bouncy, smiley son who was born at home on the sofa as a result of this. She has a special interest in working with pregnant people who have undergone (or are undergoing) assisted conception or have experienced infertility or loss and understands the additional anxiety that this can bring to a pregnancy and parenting.
